During the youth period, filled with challenges and opportunities, scout education provides a valuable platform for growth. From January 20th to January 24th, 2025, nearly a thousand scout club students from 69 senior high schools will gather at China Medical University, Tainan, to participate in the five-day, four-night National Senior High School Scout Jamboree. This is not only a great opportunity to demonstrate learning and exploration, but also an ideal stage to connect friendships and cultivate a sense of responsibility.
In this scout jamboree, participants will be able to participate in diverse activities, allowing each student to gain growth through exchange and practice. The main activities include:
Through the teaching of professional instructors, students will learn the basic knowledge and values of scouting, including interaction with the natural environment and the importance of teamwork. These courses not only lay a solid foundation for students but also promote their self-awareness.
Participants will enhance various practical skills, such as survival skills in the wild, first aid knowledge, and basic nature observation skills, which will be very beneficial to their future life and career development.
Through career exploration courses, students can discover their potential and interests, understand the requirements and challenges of different professions, and thus more clearly plan their future learning and career paths.
The jamboree has specially designed courses that emphasize gender equality awareness and moral education to promote students' social responsibility and ethical thinking, allowing them to become future citizens who are both capable and empathetic.
This jamboree upholds the learning spirit of "learning by doing," where students engage in practice and reflection outside the classroom, enhancing their problem-solving and task execution skills. Through hands-on operation and mutual cooperation, students can better understand the application and value of the knowledge they have learned.
During the jamboree, participants will be divided into small groups to conduct various challenges and tasks. This arrangement will greatly enhance the students' cooperation and communication skills.
In the activities, students will face different challenges and find solutions through teamwork. This not only cultivates their creative thinking but also enhances their self-confidence.
