Located in Anping District, Tainan City, the Sicao Green Tunnel in the Taijiang National Park is famous for its unique mangrove ecosystem and is known as the "mini Amazon forest," as well as being the only water green river in Taiwan.
The Sicao Green Tunnel is easily accessible, and with its unique and rich ecological environment, it attracts a large number of tourists every year.
The routes of the Sicao Green Tunnel are divided into two lines: the Mangrove Tunnel and the Sicao Taijiang Journey. Before boarding the bamboo raft, you need to wear a life jacket and get a sun hat to protect your head before departure.
Along the tunnel, egrets, night herons, and other birds occasionally fly low, and there are four kinds of mangroves: *Avicennia marina*, *Bruguiera sexangula*, *Lumnitzera racemosa*, and *Sonneratia caseolaris*.
The tour guide on the boat will also explain the local ecology along the way. Although the journey is only about 30 minutes, it is very worthwhile. Visitors not only have the opportunity to observe the fiddler crabs, mudskippers, and other creatures up close, but they can also photograph the original beauty of the rainforest. The editor strongly recommends that you come and visit!

The Anshun Salt Field was opened in 1919 by the "Taiwan Salt Manufacturing Company" and was the first salt manufacturing industrial base in Taiwan.
Unfortunately, the Anshun Salt Field officially ceased production in 1994 and has now been transformed into a salt field ecological culture village, becoming a scenic spot that combines historical culture and ecological tourism. Visitors can learn about the traditional salt making process and experience the life of early salt workers here.
The Sperm Whale Museum is located in Annan District, Tainan City, near the Sicao Green Tunnel, and is a specialized museum that exhibits sperm whale specimens and other marine life.

If you want to have a more relaxed trip, the editor suggests considering a chartered car with door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, so you don't have to worry about being too tired from driving or the hassle of parking.
Like the editor, I have used the chartered car platform's pick-up service before. What's special is that they also offer a time-based chartered car option that can be chosen for 2-12 hours, which is more suitable for deep tours of attractions. It's not only convenient but also saves money!
