In Yunlin County, central Taiwan, there is an eagerly awaited new destination: the "Shiziguan Campground" in Gukeng. As the first legally established, publicly-managed campground in Yunlin County, the opening of Shiziguan Campground not only provides local residents and tourists with a brand new outdoor recreational option, but also marks the beginning of a brand new glamping experience. Every facility and every activity here has been meticulously designed, making people eager to relax and unwind in nature.
The Shiziguan Campground covers an area of about 1.3 hectares and boasts a variety of camping facilities, including 8 elevated campsites, 6 ground campsites, 6 bathrooms, and 2 tent-style service stations. The setup of these facilities not only considers safety and comfort, but also usability, allowing every camper to enjoy a high-quality outdoor life here. As the first legally established, publicly-managed campground in Yunlin County, Shiziguan Campground undoubtedly makes camping activities safer and more diverse.
The trial operation of Shiziguan Campground took place from July 18th to August 5th of this year, a three-week trial period that allowed tourists to experience a unique glamping style. During this period, the campground offered a one-night-three-meals glamping experience, originally priced at NT$12,800. However, during the trial period, tourists could enjoy a discounted price of NT$8,800, and even local residents could enjoy a special price of only NT$6,800, truly allowing more people to easily enjoy the fun of camping filled with a natural atmosphere.
The official operation of the Shiziguan Campground is expected to begin in September. To welcome the upcoming October National Day fireworks, the campground has also prepared a series of featured itineraries, allowing tourists to enjoy the festive atmosphere while camping. Whether it's family with children or couples traveling, everyone can find suitable activities and create unforgettable camping memories.
In addition to the camping experience, the Shiziguan Campground will also become a hub for Yunlin's local agricultural specialties, showcasing and promoting local specialty products to tourists. The campground plans themed months for different townships, allowing every tourist to experience and taste authentic Yunlin flavors while enjoying nature.
